Who and what is Carbon-Cutter?
Carbon-Cutter is affiliated to Buy A Watt and has been specifically set up for those individuals who wish to make a difference to the environment and the world we live in. It is Carbon-Cutter’s belief that those individuals should be reimbursed for doing so.

What makes Carbon Cutter different from other Carbon Offset schemes?
Carbon-Cutter differs from other offset schemes as it returns any contributions made above €25. The scheme recognises the contribution you have made to the environment by giving you a return on your donation. The amount of carbon you can offset in one plant is 40,000 tonnes within a space of 1800 sq metres

Where are the Solar Plants being built?

All of our solar plants are situated in Southern Europe to maximise the generation of photovoltaic energy. The long hours of daylight ensure the right conditions to offset the maximum amount of carbon.

How much can I contribute?

There is no minimum contribution. A return can only be made to those individuals who have contributed €25 or above. €25 is the equivalent to 1 unit, which offsets your carbon footprint by 1 tonne. Should you wish to forgo your return on your contribution this will further offset your carbon footprint to equate to a total of 2 tonnes.

There is no limit to the number of times you can contribute and you may even wish to donate on behalf of your family and friends.

What Protection do I get?

We protect your contribution by having contracts with major Utility Companies at rates stipulated by EU Government statutory law. Furthermore, Carbon-Cutter is a trading name of C Lauren & Co. a registered company with the FSA under registration Number: 219607.

What is the reduction in Carbon Emissions?

Each €25 contributed will reduce Carbon Emissions by 1 tonne (Metric Ton).

What are the other benefits to the environment?

In addition to reducing Carbon emissions, there will also be reductions in emissions of other greenhouse gases such as Sulphur Dioxide.

How else can I help Carbon-Cutter benefit the environment?

Any amount no matter how small will go towards our environmental projects. Carbon-Cutter is committed to its members and shows this by offering reimbursement where possible. Carbon-Cutter is always open to new ideas or ways to help the environment with minimal impact to potential eco warriors whilst giving maximum benefit to the world we live in.
