Luciano Bacheta, racing toward Formula Renault 2.0 success…and a better world

Luciano Bacheta & George Rozwadowski

Carbon-Cutter in tandem with our sister organisation Buy A Watt are proud to announce our dual partnership with Luciano Bacheta, a rapidly progressing young driver in the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 championship series.

Nineteen year old Luciano is part of the Race Drivers Academy Government Funded Driver Development Programme and 2009 marks his second year in the respected formula Renault series. Even prior to his move to Formula Renault, Luciano had already established an impressive record in T Cars and the Formula Palmer Audi series’, becoming T Cars Champion in 2006, coming Third in the Formula Palmer Audi Autumn Trophy 2006 and Third in the Formula Palmer Audi 2007 series; with such proven achievements, Luciano’s aims for the future are naturally very high and he is hoping that 2009 will be a landmark year in the progression of his racing career.

Luciano Bacheta’s interest in becoming involved with Carbon-Cutter and Buy A Watt echoes an increasing trend toward environmental awareness within the Motor Racing community coupled with a determination within the sport as a whole, as well as of individual drivers and teams, to make a positive contribution toward helping the environment.

The Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 championship series is a vital steppingstone for drivers looking to progress to Formula Three, World Series by Renault, GP2 or Formula One, although it is worth noting that one former graduate of Formula Renault 2.0, a certain Kimi Räikkönen, moved straight into Formula One after winning the British Formula Renault championship.

We sincerely wish Luciano Bacheta similar success as he races toward Formula Renault 2.0 achievement…and a better world.
