| Panels contain a series of photovoltaic cells made from a semi-conductor material, usually silicon, and these convert light into electricity in a clean and environmentally sound way. The panels operate with very little maintenance making operating costs very low, especially when compared to other power technologies. |

| Each panel is remotely monitored to ensure continuity of power production and is weather and UV resistant. The sites are completely fenced and protected with full CCTV coverage and 24/7 security patrols. |

connects its plants to a meteorology department which ensures that
the photovoltaic systems can orient themselves under varied weather
conditions. This allows us to generate electricity in all conditions,
be it sleet, snow, storms, fog or wind. |

TRACKING |

| To compensate
for the sun’s constantly changing position,
Carbon-Cutter gives preference to the use of tracker
plants. These have a larger square footage and the
units always follow the sun using computer technology
with a 35% increase in efficiency over static plants.

benefits of harnessing the sun to create clean,
green electricity. Where static plants are installed
we analyse the trajectory of the sun and install
for maximum efficiency. |
